Your quick installation guide
- On your Android device, open kensat.store/install and tap Download Kensat Player.
- Open the downloaded .apk file. If Android asks for permission, tap Settings → Allow from this source for the browser or file manager you used. Return and tap Install. Labels vary by device.
- Tap Open. Your setup QR and App MAC / Device Key appear on the first screen. Choose Get setup QR if a code is not yet shown.
- Choose Check activation / refresh QR → Send details to Kensat. Add your WhatsApp number and tap Send details to Kensat. You can also upload a screenshot at kensat.store/connect.
- Once Kensat confirms your playlist is ready, return to the app and tap Check activation. Choose a channel or title and press Play.
You can turn off “Allow from this source” again after installing. Keep Android’s security protections enabled. If installation is blocked, contact Kensat for help.
Your app needs an active Trial, 1 year or Lifetime activation for all playlists. Prefer your own provider? Choose Add playlist to import an M3U/M3U8 or PLS link or file, enter an Xtream account, or add a direct stream.
Downloader on your TV
One easy link
Open Downloader, enter kensat.store/go, and choose Go. The link opens the APK download directly. When the download completes, choose Install, then Open.
For an existing Kensat Player beta, install the update over the current app to keep your App MAC, Device Key, playlists and watch history.
On the big screen
Android TV & compatible Fire TV devices
- Open kensat.store/install in a compatible downloader/browser on the TV, or transfer the downloaded APK from your phone.
- Install and open Kensat Player. Use your remote’s arrows and OK button.
- A Kensat QR code and your App MAC / Device Key appear on the first screen. If needed, choose Get setup QR.
- Point your phone’s camera at the QR code, open the link, add your WhatsApp number and send your setup details. The pairing code is filled in automatically. If scanning is unavailable, open kensat.store/connect and enter the 8-digit code, or your App MAC and Device Key.
- After setup is confirmed, choose Check activation on the TV.
APK installation is supported only on compatible Android-based devices. Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, iPhone and non-Android Fire TV models cannot install this APK.
Made for your playlist
One player. More ways to watch.
Browse Live TV, Movies and Series, pick a poster, save favourites or continue where you left off. Programme artwork comes from your provider’s playlist; a clean Kensat card appears when artwork is unavailable.
Import M3U/M3U8 and PLS playlists, or connect an Xtream account through its API. Recognised get.php links that return HTTP 884 connect through the API automatically. The player includes HLS, DASH, SmoothStreaming, RTSP and direct media playback. Query tokens, common provider headers and extensionless adaptive links are supported.
Codec and stream compatibility depend on the device and provider. Stalker/MAG portals, RTMP/UDP links and provider-specific DRM integrations are not included in this beta. M3U files are limited to 10 MB and 20,000 entries. Xtream catalogues load by category, with up to 20,000 titles in an individual category, so large libraries do not download all at once. Artwork is downloaded directly from its provider and cached in memory.

Is my App MAC my Wi-Fi address? No. It is a unique ID for this Kensat installation, written in MAC-address format.
Will it stay the same? App updates keep your details. Clearing app data or reinstalling creates a new identity, so contact Kensat to transfer activation.
Has the QR code expired? Choose Refresh QR in the app for a new code. Codes last 15 minutes. Refresh an expired code before sending your details. Your permanent Device Key is never included in the QR.
Can I send a picture instead? Yes. Photograph the App MAC and Device Key on your TV, then upload it at kensat.store/connect.
Does linking a device activate it immediately? Your details are saved for Kensat to review. An administrator links the device to your customer account, assigns your playlist and activates it.
Beta, privacy and compatibility
This testing release includes no channels or subscription. It needs a compatible provider playlist or stream and internet connection. Playback formats depend on your provider and device; real-device acceptance testing is still required before a wider launch.
The player encrypts playlist URLs, App MAC, Device Key and activation credentials in local storage. Registration sends the app-generated identity and device model to Kensat. Device Keys and playlist URLs are encrypted in protected server storage. No hardware MAC, location, contacts, advertising or analytics are collected by this player.
Setup requests are reviewed by Kensat and linked to your customer account in the admin panel. All playlists require periodic online app activation checks. App periods are Trial (7 days), 1 year or Lifetime; blocked and expired devices cannot start playback, including manually added playlists. App activation does not renew your streaming subscription or record a payment. Kensat privacy notice
